Our Profession... our Passion
Since its creation in 1945 by a group of instructors from the valley, Méribel’s Ecole du Ski Français has grown to become the largest in France.
With its four convenient booking offices and wide range of lessons (ski, snowboard, telemark, cross-country, snowshoe etc.) it meets all the varied expectations of its clients, both French and foreign.
Thanks to the Ecole du Ski Français’s special relationships with other organisations in the valley, its clients benefit from a large number of facilities including a day nursery, three kindergartens, two slalom stadia (including an Olympic stadium), enabling them to enjoy their holiday and skiing progression to the full. All 450 ESF instructors are professionals, trained at the National School of Skiing and Alpinism in Chamonix.
After five years of work-based learning our instructors have chosen to work in the wonderful Méribel valley and share with you their passion for skiing and the mountains. Whatever your technical level, age or aims, skiing with them is sure be a pleasure.
With their extensive knowledge of the Three Valleys ski area, they know where to find for you the very best snow, secret areas far from the crowds, spectacular off-piste, or a sunset over the fantastic panorama of the most beautiful summits in the Alps.
